eSignal wish list : the dedicated thread

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure why it isn't allowed, but I wish it were. Or maybe I am missing something too.

Tick charts were added to Advanced Charting with the release of version 7.1 earlier this month. We'll be adding more functionality, like trendlines, in future releases. When we get a clearer idea of exactly what will be in version 7.2, we'll post the new features so you know what to expect.

If you ever have a suggestion or a comment regarding eSignal, feel free to e-mail our Product Management team at ideas@esignal.com

Don't know if anyone's noticed, but only shorter intraday timeframe charts have vertical (dotted) grid lines to delineate each day. No problem on 1min, 2min, 3min, 5min, 10min, 13min, and 15min. But on the longer timeframes like 30min, 60min, 120min there is no vertical grid line each day (only the beginning of each week) so your bars or candlesticks run into each other when one day ends and the next day begins. In short, during those "crossover" periods (which happen every day) you can't tell at a glance what day you're on!
From an earlier post of mine which went ignored by support. I fight this every day, every time I look at a 30min chart and have no idea where the day began, every time I look at a 60min chart and have no idea where the day began, every time I look at a 120min chart and have no idea where the day began.....

I don't recall your earlier post but I'm sorry that we missed it. We have had that suggestion before and it's on our development list. Not sure it will make it into 7.2 or not.

If you have any other suggestions or ideas, please send it directly to ideas@esignal.com so it won't be missed.

Thanks,

Thanks Scott, looking forward to it being included in the advanced charts sometime soon. Frankly, I can't believe the dev team included it in the smaller timeframes and somehow left it out of the 30min/60min/120min timeframes. Other than this (well.... maybe there's one or two additional things :)) you have an excellent piece of charting software.

I second that.

PLEASE tell me multiple charts that can be linked and scrolled simultaneously will be considered for a future update! More often than not I have several charts I want to scroll forward and back together, which requires a tedious click-and-drag for every chart desired!

Apologies if others have already supplicated themselves in this thread for that feature; I haven't read though every request yet.

Extra apologies if this is already possible and i'm a bonehead. (It seems like such an obvious feature I couldn't imagine it not existing!)

7.2 features look great. It has new toys in it i've not dared to dream of!
