That would depend on what you needs are. If you like using tick charts 50,100,200,1000 tick charts your options are quite limited. esignal, dtn, cqg, tradestation. Most quote vendors just offer minute intervals along with daily weekly. CQG is out of most small traders price range CQG basic $395.

Yes I agree but if it the first time it has happened to you then it is an awackening. I have some redudndancy but really I never think I'm going to get a flat tire

We are currently experiencing some serious problems on our network. Many systems are down, affecting data into eSignal products and also our phone queue.

If spending an extra $500 per month for a decent setup becomes a stomach churning decision then you should not be trading.

For those of you bitching that this is ruining your P/L, I'm guessing you have bigger trading problems than your quote provider. As others have suggested, E-signal is not a monopoly, and if you plan on making a living at this game you might want to look into alternatives for every trading tool you use.

FWIW, For the last 30m or so I've been using SierraChart/Mytrack backup system. Took this outage to get me off my arse :)
