Put up ES futures on IB, opens in 20 minutes, 1243.5 bid on 1399 lots.
 
This huge gap up in the ES should not be sustainable. This is from a ton of shorts who got seriously caught over the weekend over news that we already knew would happen. I expect a huge reversal overnight maybe up 200+ points, but not this 350+ going overnight. BTW, I heavily shorted ES at 1273.00.

Today is a good day to do so and trade like there is no tomorrow.
Well, no, but there will be huge swings by 4pm tomorrow.

Better to be flat at the opening of regular session so that you are in a better position to trade either way. Markets may not necessarily rally and stay there at the 9:30 am opening.
