es pre,regular and post trading hours

Hi,
I'm in europe (Paris) and must convert ES trading hours properly so I can see correct high/low of day etc.

What's are the official:

- Pre Market Start / end
- Regular trading hours Start / end
- Post market Start / end

for the ES ? Please specify timezone thanks.
 
Here are the ES trading hours (in Central Time) from the CME website:

MON – FRI: 5:00 p.m. previous day – 4:15 p.m.; trading halt from 3:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Regular trading hours are (in Central Time) 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. This matches up with NYSE trading hours (in Eastern Time) 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The ES trades 23 hours a day, so premarket and postmarket start and end times definitions are up to you.
 
I'll borrow this thread. When is the closing time considered for futures? I find different brokers having slight candle differences. So if you look at daily candles, when is the "end of day" considered? CST, EST,UTC? So when they say "overnight margin" or "closing your positions until the end of the day" what timezone are we talking about here?

Exchange Time, which ever timezone the exchange is located in. i.e. NYMEX = EST / CME = CST

Example Globex [ES] - From IB Contract Description

Regular Trading Session
08:30 CST - 15:15 CST 

Total Available Hours
17:00 CST - 15:15 CST
--maintenance--
15:30 CST - 16:15 CST

You should also familiarize yourself and take into consideration the "settlement time/procedures" as well
