ES post frequency and wordcount analysis plotted against SPY

It should be noted that this just looks for any instances of word strings and pays no attention to context for example there is a person with the signature "Buy the low, sell the high, walk away at the top" which will get a hit for " top ".

KOOL ... here's another one "rule of 10", which is what the ES Journal is going to go down in history for! :p

This thread is the bomb.

For the sake of it: could you plot "spydertrader's threads (journals) with the words

"Don't get it"
"I don't get it"
"explain"

oh and:

"Anticipation"

i'd just like to be the first to nominate this for "thread of the year".

i think now we need to take it to the next level and start constructing charts with "volume" bars based on word and phrase phrequencies....

Nice charts.

Actually looks like they did fairly well.

How about instances of "what is the rule of 10"? :D

Quote from n00b7r4d3r:

Surprisingly there are 0 instances of "this is the top" or "this is the bottom" in the es journal. (which is quite a contrast from other places here on ET).

However I did look for instances of " top " and " bottom "
