Thanks G - missed big opps yesterday but too late to recover, that's the breaks, keep the flat or red p&l days to one of 5 is my pattern.

Talking with you about the YM, see I threw in a YM trade - it has traveled 200 points from yesterday close ($5 a point right).

Before there was ever an ES thread there was the YM traders thread, years and years ago - might some gems in there after you wade through the BS. The ES thread has more shite being thrown, I don't like it, we were basically civilized in the YM thread, well you know, less grunting.

still in and 1220 hit!

I did a quick search. Do you mean this thread?

Yes, seems trading ES comes naturally to you now, going with the swings buying at dips and selling rallies.

I will try to go through YM thread and see if I can recognize the gems when I see the. Btw, do you think it will really benefit reading through it, since it is such an old thread. I mean it might be hard to related to the markets then, no ? Curious to hear your thoughts.

G -

Yes should be, here it is sorted by anything YM and highest views.

Plenty of other threads with YM subjects back then also.

The only thing that won't be useful are the stops people used, based on vola at that time or... if I recall some used 10 pt stops, some 20pt, way to tight for me of course - find your swing point and give it a wide berth but your accuracy win rate better be high with that strat :D.

i.e., I would read through the ES thread to absorb some of Lawrences posts and a few others... find the gems in an ocean of sea glass gonna take time.
