Thanks, so basically there is no difference between quad and double and triple. Basically, traders use the word 'quad witching' to denote erractic mkt days....correct ?

Triple is old term, Quad is new term, same thing, on the HMUZ months on opex day. Double is all other opex days (8 of them) in the year.

Quad witching refers to the number of products that expire on the same day. Today is quad meaning that the following four expire today:

index futures

index options

stock options

stock futures expire

uptickk, thats perfect, short and concise explanation :) Thank you

Lawrence, based on what do you say this. I respect your opinion, just trying to understand ! Thanks

Original intention was to go up to 30+ or even 40+
That is obvious from the way selling above 20 has no firepower pushing ES and NQ down.

Then their gunmen started to speak and then shoot out all these reports - so some players are playing dirty above 20.

They will not take a loss because they always win by manipulation.

So once the day mid to R1 area is cleared, they will go all out cover.

Quad witching or not, market respected a well formed Trend line on the 240/60. It ofc didn't get to a new LL given the downtrend, that's a different story, although it may happen yet.
