I wrote about it few days ago....last half hour trading is very random due to all balancing, end of day flows, overnight margin changes etc.
It might be due to rumor-mongering or what not - the point is the price action just becomes too unstable and whiplashes - quick 6-8 points moves both up and down are very common within 5-10 minutes.


IMHO, it is best avoided - the last half an hour of trading.

It's difficult to avoid all this nice vola though. Surely non of you wants to go back to the 12 point range days now.
