Why do I even open up MarketWatch?:

The Dow DJIA -0.0051% closed up 7% last week, the biggest weekly point gain in three years. The gains followed November data that showed a drop in the U.S. unemployment rate.

The gains followed the drop in unemployment rate?? Really? The data that was released on Friday at 8:30am, after which the market steadily declined and never again reached that high?

Am I missing something, or are these people so clueless, or maybe they will write anything because they know that 99% of the public won't give it a second thought?
