Thanks Gordon -- I am getting my backup internet connected tomorrow and got a dual WAN router yesterday, so hoping that will help, but who knows. Thanks for the suggestions..

Re: tonight's action, I would expect a move back to 61.50 before moving up ... it's Friday's close as well as Friday's VPOC.

What's a colo?

colocation, with a win7 64bit or 2008 r2.
Add in a trade frontend button/ZLT/tradestation for auto stop
Costs you about $70-100 a month
RDP in, cloud trading setup.

Is this kind of what you're talking about?:

http://www.eotpro.com/products-equinix-dedicated-servers.php

Looks like this starts at $199 a month -- where can you get it for less than $100?

I take it you're using something like this--how long have you been, and is it worth it? I don't hear many people using this, but I'm very interested.

umm, use google.com
search dedicated servers
thousands of providers for $99 and under

Is it worth it? businesses are not hosted on ADSL or cable modems.

Just wait until someone hacks into your "colo" and starts trading with your account. It takes much more than just a server to run it properly (virus protection, IDS, Firewall). There are benefits but even if you know what you're doing it can be risky - if you can connect to it so can others by exploiting flaws in the W2k software (in addition to the security of the colo facility)

Probably the safest way would be to get dedicated server and run trading software in a VM while running firewall/IDS software on the host with logging sent to offsite location for auditing.

long 56.50, stop to b/e, target 63.50.

EDIT: Magic fill I guess? I'm not sure how I got that entry, my chart never shows us trading through. I'll take it! :) Stopped anyway.

I'm glad I got filled at that first batch, otherwise I would have probably waited for a fill and then gotten smashed on the way down. That's what I get for not following my rules ;)
