Forgive me Blotto, I don't see you post very often, but I'm always interested in learning. When you identified your trades that you said worked out well, could you describe a bit what you were seeing and what caused you to make the calls the way you did? On this thread when I take a trade or make observations I will post a picture of a chart with what I think may be a helpful viewpoint. Perhaps you could do the same and others could benefit from your real time analysis.
 
The last day or so seems to be a miniture repeat of the prior 7 days...

so it could drop like rock...
but if it goes much over 51, a different pattern....

Of course, this is a USA bank holiday. Who knows?
