nice trading ammo! I watched you build as it was going against you and constantly modifying your average price, finally booked for a good profit, i am sure.

Not everyone can do it, though - you have to be cut out for this kind of stuff

This has been my dilemma as well. The setups seem to be pretty subjective, so I don't really know how to code it into a viable strategy that is automated. I'm thinking the TICK portion of the strategy could be automated, but I don't really know how to quantify the price action that I go off of. If you ever happen to have an idea, I'm all ears!

BigSnack, you use Ninja, right?

In their Indicators' forum, there's one that plots/targets HHs, HLs, etc. You could use that for the 2nd half of your strategy.

Also, you can hire a programmer who will happily give you a cleaner code in less time and in this economy will surely appreciate both the money and the work (yes, even the work part). You don't seem to be paranoid about people copying your strategy, which is usually what deters most people who could afford a few hundred dollars, but simply refuse to hire anyone.

Once you have your strategy coded, you will probably be able to backtest it for what the best exits are.
