Look at the TICK and NQ making new lows.

Someone is unloading!

Unsustainable TICK + Lunch hour approaching --> likely dead cat bounce

up/down volume 1 to 20...

Not unsustainable if someone is really interested in selling, no?

And that would exclude lunch hours doldrum as well, yes?

Just thinking out loud here.

What levels do we got below the daily lows?

I`m looking at first the AH low at 08,50.

Then it looks a little messy with much overlapping support.

I`m thinking roughly 1205, 1200 (round number could be significant), then 95, 90, etc.

Needs to break first though.

Never saw something like this before.
Albeit, You guys who have been following ES for a long time might have seen such extreme readings before.

Market makers don't like losing money

On average yes, but if someone really starts selling, do they have any choice? :)

I have a feeling that today is not an average day. :)

Disclaimer: I do not know enough about how market makers operate though. I suppose they hedge their positions as well?

stop 13.25 looking for 1217 first

sorry, but you got stopped on that one. I am curious though why you have been looking for a bounce here ? in such extreme 20:1 volume with the fundamental completley bad news out of europe.

In the larger picture, the whole rally from 1180 to 1280 was on european problems getting solved, now since everything is wide open again and MF going down, its only logical that we not only retrace the whole rally but indeed go lower than 1180.
