Doing some light preparation for tomorrow and I`m looking at 1273,75 as the high from the 2nd of September and 1276,50 for a complete gap fill above that. Those would be potential targets tomorrow depending on where we open.
I am a little annoyed that I missed the gap fill and the high from the 3rd of September today as it was on my chart as a potential target, but I blame rushing into the open for that.
However, the test of the opening range high @ 43 was a perfect second entry for a long which I had ample opportunity to capitalize on. Unfortunately, at that point, I was too biased towards the short side to see clearly what was unfolding in front of me.

Incredibly weak volume on the last two days, breaking out of the range. Long is still the direction, but boy does it it ever look weak. And it's not in consolidation--that's up, and weak. The only impressive volume today was the stopping volume at 1152.

We haven't quite filled that gap from the 3rd -- and I believe you mean August 3rd -- on the SPYs. There are also fairly meaty gaps from August 1st and July 26 beckoning ... if peace and joy ring from Brussels, that is ...
