I got flat at 1200,50. Still believe at least 1199 will print, but I can`t risk that we don`t. Depending on how one looks at it, the gap may actually already be filled.

GMST, imagine for a moment you're a successful trader... then read your post again... what would your future successful self tell your current self?
 
i agree with billybob,most of the people that are not broke ,went thru those small accts 5 or 6 times,you will eventually figure it out,but you could do it in sim for free,or with real cash for 20,40,50k negative before you do

Excellent way to look at things! My future successful self will look back and say I did few things correctly and few incorrectly while learning to pick ES trading. I think the smarter thing I am doing is that I am posing this question in the forum of ES traders - hoping to get constructive feedback.

What I have posted is a plan to prevent me from losing a lot of money while I build up my skills and edges to trade ES.

As I said I have to look at a complete list of new things that are not applicable to forex like tick trin A-D line etc. etc.

Hard language is welcome - as it sometimes helps get the point across but I am also looking for positive and constructive criticism and suggestions as to where to look to develop sustainable edges.

I am sure you can give some pointers. :)

Ammo, I am sure sim is useful to many people, but I just do not get the same level of sincereity in the sim as in real trading. I think its one of my shortcomings. Please give some pointers and specific criticisms on my plan. Thank you very much.
