I trailed a stop to 1198 and intended to use limit orders OCO to see if I could get filled @ 1199, but forgot to enter OCO, so I did not take the chance to re-set it in case we collapsed.

Anyways, I got a little greedy as my initial 50% gap fill and AH high target was reached and I should have had a limit order there in advance.

If we only pull back now, I would not be surprised if we fill the whole gap by EOD, but I think I`m done for the day.

Did not NQ fill it`s gap a long while ago?

Flat @ 1198.

Nice trade!!!

I think that by gap fill we're referring to different things.

It seems you mean "overnight high" or beginning of the gap, whereas I refer to "previous day closing price" or end (filling) of the gap.

:)

Nicely read that bullish pulse, congrats.

Thanks.

Now I`m mad that I did not hold it for more, but hindsight trading is always easier for some reason. Any idea why? :)

I use the cash session from 09:30-04:00 for all my gap calculations and they seem to be fairly accurate.

I calculate gaps as areas where price did not trade. That would make this gap fill complete @ 1208,25.

I was still bullish after that deep pullback since price was still trading above the 50% retracement level and the uptrend line.

When we put in a higher low and surged higher, I took it as my cue to get in.

Nice re entry LF! I stepped away and missed the bounce that led to the final push. It was an obvious long just after 12:11, I'm glad you caught it.

call these posers out, please

with their 4-color charts, and their tired rhetoric

quit whining,

PLACE A TRADE, thentake your stop

but quit whining

Overnight AND pit sessions for stock indexes are all FX trading right now.

That persists until the Greece saga is laid to rest, or past 2:15pm est on Wednesday. Whichever comes first :)
