Wedge break gives us the start of the wedge at 74-75 = R1

72-73 last week close

71-72 AH midpoint

So yes downside move has limited potential until ES cleared the zone mentioned above.

Ya the downside is limited today but in the big picture is not.

I'm thinking covering at those areas you mentioned then reshort higher to continue the short swing.
