Quote from Jestersofmalice:

Im glad to hear that others found it a hard/'strange' day.
I lost 9 points.
Confidence killer, lol.
Lets see if I fare any better today.

And im nearly UP 9 points so far today! 3 trades. Yesterdays spanking was 4 trades, all losers.

Crazy.

Hoping that I can say that yesterday was very strange and such days will only happen occasionally and that todays action is more typical, lol

Would be great if you could work out whether your method will work each day before you actually begin trading!

coulda woulda shoulda never made a dime trading

And you will have given up more profit when you eventually get stopped out because you did not scale out at higher profit levels.

Your argument only holds water if you have a fixed profit target but you don't

Discussion is for the scaling thread. Again, you are making an argument about my exits and entries, not an argument about scaling or not scaling. If I have a bad system, I will lose less by not scaling. If I have a good system I will make more by not scaling. End of comments concerning same in the thread. :)

Key word is "had"
Had the market tanked 30 points and my oco was resting at 1215 I would have made nothing.
I had 1210 - 1215 pegged as my sweet spot
The tight number from my analysis was 1213.5
Had I set my short at 1213.5 or 1215 I would have missed yet another trade.
And no my orders were not at every half point.
So are you actually going to post some trades or are you just here to criticize others who do ?
Thanks for the answers. Maybe I'll post some next year. Take care.

Longer term targeting ES 1247 as long as NQ keeps trading above 2220. The flip side is a pretty dramatic pullback if NQ can't regain today's high, which is the 200 ema. I suspect the Fed minutes will clear the decks. In any case, I am trading around that 2220 level.

Hopefully let the face melting commence...
