Quote from Lawrence Chan:

You get your double top in NQ.

Nice one Vol!

If we close the gap then finish the session at new highs, will that negate the double top?

Just asking ...

My guess a lot of effort in the past, not giving up, and learning from mistakes. Just a guess. But that is the way it usually works.

Quote from DanS:

Yeah, how did he do that?

Yes. If that happens, high prob we get 2450 by monday.

But if it is the intention of the mkt to pullback, then we get the gap fill below first. =)

Quote from Buy1Sell2:

There is only one 100% winning strategy. It is dollar cost averaging (buy and hold) into index mutual funds over a time frame of 20 years and beyond. Other traders need to use close stops risking no more than 2% of TLNW on each trade/idea, letting the winners run.

Quote from Trvlwanderer:

Unless you time the market to the exact TIME you want to use that money.

All those folks needing that money NOW and last year are struggling a bit.

Works well for Warren, because he will NEVER spend it, LOL!

Not disagreeing with you B1S2, I use the same mentality for investing.

Trading is a far better use of working capital though. :)

I did mention that it was a 20 yr and beyond strategy, not one where you would need the money next year.

I swore I am not picking on you...

I tried it between 1916-36, it didn't work. Then I tried it again between 1960-80 and it didn't work either....

I must be doing something wrong.... :(

What were the dividends during those 20 yr periods? What instruments were being used?
