Went flat 53.75. Demtdayboyz fought me all day long.

May I ask why you fought them?

Was the gap fill your only conviction?

Like Picaso, I did think it seemed a little out of character, especially since you earlier said you are bullish on the market (IHS) and it`s t-day today.

Can someone help out a call/put noob? I do ETFs and I do really well at predicting what will happen. Been doing it for years. But I've never tried this put and call stuff.

Say I had spent $5,000 on a call when it was 1350 and it went to 1355. How much could I have made on that?

TIA,

SM

I have to say I find it very interesting that today`s high was last week`s range exact 50% level. To the tick!

1343 is the pivot point from last week`s range and acted as support on this choppy afternoon that I should never have traded in the first place.

It will be interesting to see what the t-day boyz have in store for us tomorrow. Perhaps they are sneaky and take out 1345 overnight and gaps up tomorrow.

And that`s what happened.

Provided that the 1345 area is of any significance, should this area now act as support for this rally to continue?

Maybe the market will fill that gap below first, maybe not.

Today was a repeat of April 22nd's action. But tomorrow can still be a down day to fill the gap despite April 25th.

Because I do not chase price if there is a gap below from the previous cash close. I was bullish but was betting on a gap fill to cover shorts and get long and the bulls were too strong on a gap and trend day. The r10's all were profitable but we never got more than 3- 5 points of retrace from them due to the strong trend. The losing trades I had were all at one time 2-3 points in the green but I did not lock profit on them and let them turn back into losers.
