yeah, i agree....but it's my only option right now as my usual connection is out. I figure if some astute filipino hacker is bright enough to access my tiny account, he could only add to my bottom line...lol.

LOL!

You probably know more about this than me, but I always believed that HFTs were active all day long, mostly scalping for quick profits.

So, when volume increases suddenly, I conclude that it is a bigger entity or higher time frame player that is entering a directional trade.

I`ve seen price spike many times on low volume as well.

HFT accounts for no more than 28% of ALL futures markets...to suggest that HFT is accountable for 600000 of todays volume is way off base.

The fact is volume is a below average day....and where would the specific advantage be for HFT is this price action today?...looks like dinasaurs..:confused:

I said I think we'll be up for the week but there is room for a down day tomorrow if ya'll get carried away. Read between the lines there.

edit: To clarify, tomorrow could be a continuation so I wouldn't short here, but I'd take my long profits to the bank
