Well the reason is my logic on the market is if it tests highs, its GOING to break it by at least a tick. It is very rare that you see the market make a double top TO the TICK.
There is normally at least some sort of stop run, so I'd rather save a tick or two, than get run over.
Unfortunately, this was one of those cases where that scenario didn't play out.
The market always moves TOWARDS (contrary to popular belief) size in the order book. Normally at highs, there are WAY more offers than bids, thats why it normally breaks. You have to watch the dom (even if your not scalping) to judge the power behind moves.
