Ballsy move to step in front of this freight train. We'll never win against computer buying. There was so much support at 1305. There's no reason to be back at 18 if we're going down. Next stop is 1330.

I'd say they're gonna gun for the stops, then it'll lose steam.

That may very well happen :)

If only one could find a way to know in advance if we`re currently retracing/pausing in the uptrend or forming a top :p

Back away from the keyboard, LF.

Long @ 1317. Stop @ 1316. Target 1319,50.

Target hit short of one tick. No, wait! Already took a premature exit on that one :)

Close enough for a gap fill.

Short @ 1318,50. Stop @ 1321,50. Target: Lower than 1318,50.

Leaving the computer now, but might be back in to check on things.

Placing a buy limit @ 1314.

1310 and 1305 may be in play as well. Blowing out my stop is also likely.

Either way, this is the last trade today

Good trades. I was waiting to trade after lunch. The R1 was 1316.25. However, anyone who had default short there got stopped out.

I was listening to CNBCPRO which you can get on your computer. They stated that different companies from different industries were disappointing earnings. This set my bias slightly negative.

I counted 5 HH in a row without a pullback. Now after lunch hour for the market, I saw a slight sell off plus my indicators turned down. I placed a small scalp order in similar futures market to ES thinking the market should at least pullback to a fib line and that I would make a profit. I did and you probably did too.

I think the market will go higher after the sell off but since I made a profit I am not sure if I will take another trade today.

Short @ 1318,50. Stop @ 1321,50. Target: Lower than 1318,50.

Risk reduced to 3 ticks @ 1319,25.

Currently finding support @ the 20-EMA and previous resistance @ 1316,50.

I could take 1 point now, but I`m willing to risk 3 ticks that we go lower. Breaks of support does not always happen at the first attempt.

In the event that we`re heading lower, my stop should not get hit. If it gets hit, it will be on the continuation of the trend if it is still in effect.

Let`s see what happens.

dear oraclewizard:

if u want to become a successful es trader, watching CNBC will not help u to become a successful traders. Hence, EliteTrader.com is far better at providing useful current event info than CNBC.

If u disagree with that , u should foillow jim cramer stock picks!

P.S

Don't bother volente. he is at the Bank of Volente drinking mojitos and hummiing 'Hola! Short ES"
