Quote from Nexen:

Market continues it's brutal path of bear destruction.

What a surprise, considering the least probable scenario in strong trends is trend change.

Not sure what would hurt the most, the losses taken shorting or the missed long opportunities, tough call.

Many still believe 1070 will never hold. Oh man. 2 years of sodomy, mentally and in the wallet.

Quote from Rickshaw Man:

Why do some people here continue to short this market, never a long trade always shorting, I find this almost misleading to new followers of this thread.

I've never shorted the ES in this thread.
Only ever long

I'm starting to hear alot of non-trading folk talking about day trading and seeing the topic appear on non-trading internet sites.

Dejavu.

Short as a swing or position trade is fighting the powers-to-be and proven unwise in most situations.

Just because it "should" doesn't mean it has to.

As has been painfully proven to me more than once.

who's the nontrading folk u are referring to? me or fed?

Shorting in a steadily rising market may not be the most efficient way to try and make money, but pick your points carefully and it can work. Probably a hell of alot easier than playing longs when the market finally starts to roll over.

Quote from startraitor:

Although he might just get lucky if I am right about this rally stopping below 1340 SPX...
