Clearly you are not a newbie OR have access to a pro. The reason you are stopping posting trades is you sense a top looming and trading long will become difficult. Why don't you hang around and trade long during a decline? A trader is not great until he has traded various markets.. I remember quadrupling my account in 2008 during the commodity boom... I thought I was a genius.

Show the thread "ES always goes up".
 
spike down after the report but they've since managed to rally it back up with ease. Surely a sign that there's life in the bull yet.

I'm sorry if each time I congratulate you it causes a furor in the small minds. I guess I should stop. :D

Yesterday, via PM on another site, I was in discussion/argument with someone else who had asked me to keep him up-to-date on your progress. (I guess he didn't like the fact you were continuing to do well, either :) )

He went on about sim versus real, and I tried to explain that it is not relevant. Anyone who can post, in advance or real time , their trades and targets and make 3-5 points a day consistently over time is doing something VERY few people can do. I doubt there are ANY people on this board, or any other forum, or 'educators', who can make 3-5 pts consistently for 80+days.

I challenged him to post, in advance or real time, his trades and targets and make 3-5 points a day consistently - no difference to me if he makes the trades with cash or not and I would take his trades after he had done it for 4 weeks! I'm not holding my breath for that!, LOL.

IC , your trade yesterday's trade was great. I was sitting in front of my screen watching the price action and waiting for it to get in my low zone (I don't trade cash on days less than 12 points range so I wouldn't have taken the trade with cash in any case - however that is besides the point.) My estimated low zone was 1270.50 to 1267.50 with the estimated low centered at 1266. It didn't quite get to 1266 but got to 1266.25. So when I came to the forum at the days end and saw you had traded that spike down, I was very impressed.

But the key was not the entry - which was great, it was the target. of plus 3. That I didn't see! :)

In any case, IC I believe that you are exactly who you say you are. You are always and straight-forward in sharing your trades and adding disclaimers. I thank you for it. Good for you and well done!

I only came here in Dec and because I needed software and found this thread by chance (very narrow range days in Dec way less than my 12pt minimum). If I had started coming here in Sept and saw someone posting winning trades - at first I would just watch but after 4 weeks - I would take the trades! Put you egos in your back pocket. :cool:

You may explode when you read my post so let's see you do something instead of jaw-boning. Start a thread called "ES sim trades only", post your sim trades only, in advance or real time, and lets see you make 3 pts a day for even 30 trading days , hah, hah. Prove me wrong! - Send me a PM after you have made 30 days of 3pts a day and I'll come back and read it!!
-I can here the excuses now, "I only trade real cash, I'm a big man"..etc.etc.

You sit there jawing about "is he a pro or no?" (Do you know any pros who hang out in a 2 bit forum posting winning trades for 80 days? LOL). :p BTW, No I'm not going to respond to negative people so if you make any posts of venom to me will go unread and unreplied, you shall be talking to the wall.)
