A little bit glib, jjf....but your point is well taken....

As a matter of interest , who do you consider to be the two 'highly successful traders'..?

NiN

I read ET because people post on a wide range topics some of which I find very interesting.... particularly macro econ subjects

As to who is "highly successful" that is something I don't concern myself with as it doesn't effect me.

However I do think that there are some very good chartists here who perhaps do not possess the mental skills to actually trade.

That in no way takes anything away from their posts and they have opened my mind to different courses that I may not have reached on my own.

I do however think that I was lucky in starting my trading journey in "solitary" and I had reached the point of discarding the books before I discovered ET.

You are leaving before FOMC minutes, doubled down, top of lonterm channel and no stop?

Interesting approach :D

That's annoying. I didn't know fomc was tonight; would have liked to be here for that.
Market shold still just do its thing for me though. Much higher price due in the long term, so i should be OK whatever happens.

Ill be back after 'kicking out time'.

Your 71 was a breakout long

you dont do breakout trades with big stops

because probability of failed breakout is high

Nice two day fund liquidation. Everybody jumped on the S&P balance area. R -> S.
