From yesterday to today, you're saying there's no buying pressure ?

That was not what I said.

I was just implying that there was a divergence between TICK and ES the first 30 minutes, since we rose to exceed yesterday`s highs on falling TICK levels.

Last trading day this month. Likely to affect price behaviour in any way?

Then there`s a royal wedding in England. Traders there taking the day off?

I`m sure IC FED is watching :)

slow grind north to ~62

my bad I worded that wrong.

I meant, there was plenty of buying pressure past few days. Today, at the time we spoke, it failed to push down. 845am candle tried a reversal, and we had a failed reversal. Price still over 20ema and unable to fall combined with the past few days bullishness, I thought assuming there was no buying pressure was ludicris.

If anything it was a minor consolidation.

Volente,

Does your IHS care about lunch hours or will it go straight to it`s target?

I`m holding a long from 57,50 that I considered bailing on now as I`m off for dinner, so I have to know :)

EDIT: Never mind. I bailed @ 59,50. Hoping I`ll get the opportunity to enter a new trade at a better price when I`m back.

How do you expect me to know that answer ?

if 58 neck holds then we keep grinding north

OCO my friend

move the stop to breakeven and set the target where you think

or take the 2 points if you choose. This is where trading multiple contracts help because right now you want to ring the register but the greed in you says hold for more.

the reentry to me is now 58.5 with 2 point stop and target of 61.5

It was partially a joke, although I did wonder if your experience says that going into lunch hours will affect the pattern by consolidation and pulling back.

As opposed to if the pattern materialized late in the session, going all the way to target in a shorter move.

Ignoring the IHS, 58,50 should be support now anyway.

Either way I bailed for 2 points and I think I will refrain from entering any new ones before leaving, although 59 may be a good entry.

Multiple contracts next week or the week after if I keep being consistent
