For a moment the market looked like it was screaming, "I`m going higher, wanna come along?", but then it reversed off the highs.

We could be seeing just a nice pullback here. Those who can read it and execute will get paid :)

It`s easy to get become blind to the upside with a gap below and that can be very expensive.

Entered short @ 1179. Stop @ 1183.

Sorry, emg :)

Yeah, sorry that I was stupid enough to bet against you :)

Stopped for a painful 4 point loss. Done for a while/day now.

Nice entry.

What are you inferring from the TICK at the moment? I`m looking at 1-minute values like you suggest now, and it does seem to be trending downward, yes?

My subjective interpretation (as always), say that we may be forming a wedge formation here. The upwards slanting wedge is by definition a bearish formation.

No matter what it`s called it is obvious that this is a period of indecision, setting us up for a break either way.

LF, Yes you are right the TICK is trending downward, but we were up against a 50% pullback and I thought it would be worth the risk. If this downward trendline on the TICK breaks, I will reenter. My bias is long as long as the TICK doesn't close below -600.

Cool. I was just wondering if I were following along correctly :)

I wonder which magnet is the most powerful, emg target above or the gap below? Both obviously powerful magnets :)
