LF, I was typing with someone on Skype and at 3:19pm ET, I told him I was really tempted to buy ES there, right about the price and time you were closing your position![]()
Glad you got a winner!
But you didn`t, did you?
Thanks NoDoji.
It felt nice resuming my live trading with a winner, although my profit target got hit as I had projected.
Now, let the winners run and cut the losses short. I know, I know...

How simple it can be.
Not the kind of day where you short, and if you are thinking long term short swing, only a newbie would initiate the swing mid day, you wait until the close because momentum is against you.
That goes for big ego salivo lol
Please Nexen. It`s getting old.
Worry about your own trading and let Schizo worry about his. I don`t think you`re adding anything to this thread by relentlessly criticizing others methods.
Let`s keep it friendly and constructive.

Thereâs money to be made in both directions, usually faster to the short side and a bit more slowly to the long side. ES dropped about 20 pts in 6 hours last week, then took over a day and a half to retrace that move this week. The profit looks, smells and spends the same no matter which direction you trade to get it.
Amen to that. The criticism against "bears" in this thread is ridiculous from an intraday perspective. I do however understand the concern about trying to pick a top as a position/swing trader, but fortunately that`s not my problem.
