Dips in the ES are rare, but make for great long opportunities ;)

I'm pretty sure there's a dip off every rally and a rally off every dip.

That 16 handle move down in one hour off the open had to taste almost as good as the 12 handle move up over the next 5 1/2 hours :p

Having about as strong a short bias in my trading as you have a long bias, I enjoy razzing you.

Hey, nice trading :)

The 12.45 / 12.46 bars on ES were a clear indication to cover.

Blotto, explain this if you would. 12:35 and :36 are clear exhaustion candles on the 1 min, but I'm not sure what you see in the 12:45 and :46 candles.

Thanks

Disclaimer, any Forex trade real time that I call here is either my own trade or made by hedge fund managers. All trades are real money. I am now using a tracking service to validate these trades in real time since both ET and IB don't seem to be able to give me good tracking stats for these trades and if they show an upward profitable trend, I will give you a link for it. I know this is the ES Journal, but I trade ES, CL, Euro, and options, so thought you would not mind as long as I call trades in real time.

Blotto made that comment on 10/7 after LOD. I should have noted that. Check out the candles from that day. I just don't see what he is referring to.

Final target of 950 on the S&P with my stop at 1175 (although I doubt we're breaking 1150 again). It's a position trade, so I'm not too concerned with the way in which we get there, but waterfall sell-off action similar to May is very likely.

Well I was wrong. I didn't take my losses yet, but put my stop right above last weeks high. The market blew past the zone I was looking for a reversal at, so I don't see much of a technical reason for it to stop here... barring some big news this looks like one in the L column.
