Thanks ammo. Yes, I'd just look for 10 NQ points from that trade. I've been busy with Euro during the night so I'm done for today thanks.

Any chance you would be good enough to put up a 1 minute chart of ES and NQ, with no indicators, just price and volume, and perhaps mark on your trades for today?

Is that market profile / value areas you are using on your charts?

Nice 95 entries blotto. I picked some up ~ 96.75.

What do you do if it drops another 5 points right through 95 within seconds? I'm guessing you have a very tight stop going in like that at almost the low.

First three orders were buying to close my short. The long was only 1/3 of the original short pos. If it had gone down I had a very tight stop, but would have likely ended up with some slippage, hence why it wasn't a bigger position. You can only get away with manoeuvres like that in the ES on anything more than a handful of contracts.

I am buying there only because I believe it is an absolute low and the market would not be permitted to go to new lows on the day at that time, otherwise no trade.
