Here is my explanation:

I was expecting the market to linger in the 1132ish zone for a good hour or so. But the 10 am breaking news took it down. As usual with non-relevant news, the market shook it off, and we have now a genuie Failure of the doubletops and 1163 here we come!

On the daily chart both SPX and NDX sligthly overshot the SMA 9 line before recovering. I hate breaking news....

This dragon 3rd top play is valid until we either reach the 3rd top or go through the Failure of 1132....
