Edit: Given that alot more people are looking at that line now and expecting a touch, I'm growing increasingly skeptical of a touch before a turn.

Those +8 and +12 short trades taste at least as sweet as the +3 longs. You should give it a try some time :cool:

I like to see people making money through any kinds of trades.
Shorting something like the ES is definitely NOT my game though!

I trade CL and posted my trades here for quite a while.

I'm just making a point that as a day trader you can make money both directions. emg calls these levels at which he plans to go long or short and target 1 pt profit and then price moves 5-10 pts to get to his entry price and he takes 1 pt profit. Some of you seem to only trade long and take 3 pt profit, but there are nice downside moves that you never trade. I'm confused. I like to trade to the short side, but I do trade long when price is moving up. In fact I will buy new highs if the price action indicates it, just as I will sell new lows.
