Sure he had in the begining, when he stayed in a position for days/weeks.By the way EMG never said he is using his own system, my guess is that it is from a signal giving service....
The trading styles are very different, I assume that is the reason for the nameswitch. Further similarities:
1. Both account sizes are supposedly at least in the high 6 figures.
2. They can both withstand a signifficant move against their position, and the reason for that is because the original entry size is very small.
3. They are very stubborn and don't change/adjust the style, even when positive feedback and good advice are given.
4. Generally, the trading style doesn't make sense.
I am sure I can find more, right now I would say there is a 98% chance I am right. The English thing can be a cover just so it wouldn't be so obvious...
I disagree although I kinda miss buy1's trading lectures, I disagreed with a lot of what he had to say but he had some interesting ideas.
recent example:
"There is only one 100% winning strategy. It is dollar cost averaging (buy and hold) into index mutual funds over a time frame of 20 years and beyond. Other traders need to use close stops risking no more than 2% of TLNW on each trade/idea, letting the winners run. "
I would add having all the winning numbers in powerball, having a rich uncle, etc. There is a chapter is Taleb's book called " if you're so smart how come you are not rich"
Well, I s'pose what everyone is indirectly throwing your way is that you might not be so lucky next time. If you keep adding to your losers, you're guaranteed to meet your maker more sooner than later. What you should have done was to nip your losses at the bud and then reentered at lower prices.
Anyway, just another worthless 2-cents from this noob.
