Yes, still long 1125.5 having grabbed +3 on my add-on (which in hindsight was a bad exit, but nevermind)

It can do what it wants at the moment. I'll take a +3 if it offers me it today. If it goes down again ill look to put the 'add-on' long backn on again, looking for a T-day rally.
We'll see.

Either way, Nice bounce from Friday where everyone was panickingabout a CRASH, lol, saying that I wouldn't see near my initial long anytime soon!!

We are still near top of range. After the FED you could get smoked hard if they decide to revisit bottom of the range. Of course a down move to 1050-70 just sets up an IHS and another move up.

The topstep guys think that they will gun for stops above 27.5 today.

I'm too busy shorting a dull market to have an opinion :D .. I'm leaning towards going to go see Middlemen and buy an extra large popcorn with the measly 50 bucks I banked today.

keep an eye on hpq traded 131 million shares with a very tight range, if it pops it will drag the index with it.

Anybody know what the major sentiment is out there? Bullish, Bearish?

And assuming the Fed's move is a non-event, which way is smart money leaning?

According to my sources... :D just kidding...

Based on what I've read, at the end of July institutions were buying, hedge funds were playing the ranges and now volume is plummeting.

AAIK, consensus is Bernanke will not announce anything new and mention more QE as simply an option (i.e. that in spite of rates being at record lows, they still have some more bullets).

I say we will see some whipsaws after the announcement, but unless we get some major macroeconomic/geopolitical event, it's setting up to be a dull summer - with the occasional run of stops, sure, but I don't think the next major move has been decided yet.

Nice to see you're back, Schizo.

Were you on vacation or on STFU-and-trade mode? :)
Vacation although some of you perfer that I choose the latter option. :D

August being a sleeper month and this market being a clueless ass, I plan to take another vacation soon.

I took a short at 1026 with a small stop and profit, got out at 1025, but I also shorted the EUR/USD at 1.3230 and got out with 10 ticks to turn a negative day to a positive one considering I took a loss on a 1 contract overnight long on ES.

Short 25.75

SL 27.50
PT 20.50
