Did I miss something? What's with the drop?

We (surely I) are not privy to the script. Reverse of yesterday just when you're convinced to stop your shorting ways. Feel like a leaf in the wind.

I couldn't have said it any better.

We filled the cash gap from Friday morning, that's about it...

Well, to clarify, the NDX did. And I actually misscalculated the preopen ES high, when it was 88 that was the equivalent of 92 cash, but the gap is around 96. But again, the NDX did close its cashgap...

It's entirely possible we're seeing the old adage "buy the rumor, sell the news" at work.

Yesterday, the rumor was AAPL beating estimates, markets rallied on this rumor.

News was announced and a short follow-on rally ensued.

Today, news is out, selling re-commenses.

But like others, I'm not privy to the tape, just watching/trading as opportunities arise.

The weird thing is that on the stocks that make up the S&500 there is more up price volume than down even though the price has been going down in ES... Strange
