Have you considered coding up "too picture perfect" and backtesting fading it?
Just finished backtesting my "scared money as of late" syndrome. As predicted, very eratic concerning correlation eur and eurozone politics.
Must be one hell of a complex algorithm.
There's a 10 pt move in one direction from here, I just don't know for sure where she is.

Yeah, happens about every 6 months. Involves sweaty hands, indecision, excessive analysis.
Usually passes within a week or so.
