Quote from petty1978:

If the ES does not close below 1070 on the 30m Bar and the rallies to 1088.25, sell short at 1088.25, cover at 1070.00 and set your stop at 1102.50

If this rally continues, most likely todays 9:30am est 30m bar high will be revisited (1094). My order is in for sell short at 1088.25, but 1094 is likely as well...but it runs the chance of not getting filled and missing the trade...

Has anyone in here looked at what ES price action does when a days No-Globex session expands more than double the range of its overnight Globex session?

[make sure the 16:30pm Globex open 30m bar is not the high for the day or in reverse, the low for the day. And yes, there are a few caveats you need to know about but this general idea is a good starting point]

Its pretty cool when it happens and its a great swing trade. Check it out and let me know what you see!

I think we are done with the downmoves and might even make a cup and handle...

gap fill = pivot tap by the close is statistically probable. I'm away from the screens until next week... scheduled a trip away back when ES was trading sub-10pt range sessions.

sucks for me, but trees will fall in the forest while others present harvest the timber. y'all save some kindling wood for me :)
