just to be clear: you are now 3x (300%) normal position short with the market currently -8 index points (-24 points average profit at +1pt x 3 trades) against you?

what's your risk manage plan if the ES slips to 1080 or 1060 straight from here?

my risk management is $100K per contract. i posted that before

what are you willing to lose per contract, per trade was the question?

we're pretty sure you aren't risking -$100,000 for the chance at +$50

Posted 2 days ago when cash was above 1125...

I think there was also a Failure on the daily below 1150 cash and the height is 80 pts, so 1070 (which is almost the same as the May 6th cash low) here we come!

Are we there yet? Only another 25 points to go!

Edit: I have just realized earlier we already dipped below 1090, so make it 20 to go...

I'm emotional about assigning maximum risk of loss limits to any given trade = situation = scenario?

In other words, it's unemotional to leave an open trade, one against the trend no less without any plan for maximum loss protection parameters?

After 11 years of doing this, I learn something new every day

Since I just had coffee and I did pass 4th grade, the below math/logic must be correct:

1. You must have at least an 800K account, because:

2. You had at least 8 contracts on on May 6th.

and

3. You use 1 contract for every 100K.

But that means on an average day:

4. You make 50-100$ on an 800K account, because you use the single entry for a possible average down.

Now making $100 with an almost million buck account strikes me as futile. Or something wrong with the above math/logic (impossible!) or you misstated some facts.

So which is it? Are you really happy making 100 bucks daily with such an account? And really, with such an underleverage, why use futures?
