ES for today (live):

1:13pm: Sh @ 1148.00 off failed micro-rally (cross-referenced 3-min) in a sharp down move, momentum play with stop quickly to b/e. Covered partial 2 mins later @ 1145.75, realizing I entered way too late and took something based on the feel of the price action there. Remainder stopped out b/e.

1:57pm: Sh @ 1149.25 (sl @ 1151.25), pullback from failure to break through the falling 20 EMA.

2:00pm: Cover partial @ 1147.25, remainder 2 mins later @ 1145.00.

I bought 250 ES contracts on friday @ 1105.50 from the pullback on a uptrending 20 EMA ,


My friend bought 20 ES contracts pre-market through the piercering of the triangle on the uptrending 30% fibonaci , , Made $10k

Actually, I called my first trade live in Robert's chat room and quite a few ET-ers can confirm that. By the second trade I was already managing a multi-lot CL trade, a losing long reversing to short and managing the ES multi-lot trade same time and did not call them live.

It doesn't really matter. My trades and my P/L are my business. I post live when I'm not in the heat of a battle, otherwise I post later because traders like to evaluate other traders' setups, trade management, etc. We all learn from each IMHO.

Coolweb, this trade is not something I would even post if I was trying to impress someone with after-the-fact fake trades!

I would've said:

12:55pm: Sh @ 1155.00, internal approximate double top, 2nd failure to break through the flat 20 EMA, covered @ 1145.75 because I know how to pick perfect tops and bottoms 100% of the time.

Seriously, how is this trade impressive?? I was busy doing something and by the time I looked back at the screen I'd missed most of a great move and scalped a piece off the end of it.
