I don't believe in triple bottoms. If we proceed towards 78 again, I will position short.

good call by the way about triple tops not holding last week and that break out friday.

Thanks. Triple tops rarely ever hold, bottom rarely do too, but they happen more than tops. In the event that either holds, the flip trade is good as gold.

I killed it today in ES to the short side. Record ES day for me. However, there was just as much opportunity to the long side. Isn't day trading wonderful?

If you traded in Q4 '08 you'll like this. ES is 0.5 wide in more than 50 contracts for a few minutes today.... NQ 0.5 too. The good old days are back? I'm going to post this here, rather than in trading blotters as it isn't my blotter and I don't want to piss off the mods.

This isn't mine, and I don't know if posting it is against the rules, but here is a blotter showing net P&L of other traders at my firm.

One individual is up $1,150,687.50 on 14932 RTs in the ES. Back of the envelope calculation shows this to be more than half of one per cent of the total business transacted today.

I don't know anything more about this than what I've posted, so please no questions about this trader by PM or otherwise. Nice example of what can be done though....

Final thoughts - no reason to short these markets yet....pay close attention to what has happened earlier. Kudos to those who made points earlier.

In absolute terms and if that blotter is not photoshopped, that is impressive.

1)What is the account size?
2)How many trades did he do on the 15k RT's. ?
