My read is that 1200 tagged first, so 1000 is not likely to hold in next few months.

900 is my if-or-but zone.

SP futures up 0.40% Watch the VIX gap up on the open. They are working hard to keep that VIX up, as not to set off alarm bells.

Stock Index making higher highs, VIX not making lower lows.

Printing more $ will only keep the stock mkt at around this level due to the fact that many (if not most) insiders and such already cashed out and would never put those money back into the system.

Think of this as 2nd generation of now "old money" defending their loots.
