IB Lowers US Futures Pricing
In keeping with our tradition1 of being a low-cost2 industry leader, Interactive Brokers is lowering commissions on US Futures and Futures Options. Effective April 12, 2010, you will be able to choose from two simple, low cost pricing plans:
Flat RateUSD 0.85 per contract, plus any exchange and regulatory fees.
Volume TieredUSD 0.25 - 0.85 per contract based on monthly trading volume, plus exchange, regulatory and carrying fees.
In addition, we have simplified the tiers in our unbundled pricing structure for all non-US futures and futures options.
We are able to keep our prices low because we execute, self-clear, and build our trading technology in-house, always focusing on automation. As an IB customer, you can trade equity, forex, fixed income, energy, metals and other commodities futures and futures options worldwide, from a single account.

is 0,85 a round-turn, then thats cheap. if not, i know brokers who have lower commissions since 2008
