Did you really have fun taking that much heat?

I remember one day in November 2008 I was trading YM via the 1min chart and as soon as I entered a trade, I got stopped out. I was like WTF? I had forgotten to adjust the automated stoploss order from 20 to 100 points.

Normal setups on 1min chart would require 50pts or more. Sometimes near 100pts. Crazy times indeed.

I have friends who have been in this business for a while and they all claim to have never seen anything close to the type of volatility we had in late 2008/early2009.

I am not even sure if my grandsons will be able to see it again.

Perhaps "straightforward" is better suited than "easy"

Once you pass through the fog of confusion ES will never seem the same again, but you won't know that until it happens.
The first signs are glimmers that appear clearly and then fade.
Gradually these glimmers appear more frequently and remain longer until it all becomes continuous.

The downside of ET is that it passes on a defeatist attitude to noobies who hardly know what the ES consists of .. and they become toast before they even kick into gear.

People talk of many ways to trade, but in my opinion there is only one way and it combines two elements ...

... high win/loss ratio
plus ... high risk/reward ratio

My suggestion to the few original thinkers here is never ever forget this and never ever allow other people to persuade you otherwise.

By all means use the odd indicator, channel line etc if it aids in your progress (you will eventually grow out of them) but never ever take your eye of the ball.

Incredible.

Do you guys think this thing has enough fuel to reach high 70s today with shorts getting caught looking for a correlation to the European markets in the afternoon as well as H&S formation that's about to be voided? (Personally. I think it's highly possible now)
