Your stop is pretty wide, but chasing in a mean reversion instrument like ES is very risky.

Or he may get F'd by DEMTDAYBOYZ

I told you already that DEMTDAYBOYZ are now shorting.

I'm no expert but this volume-less tape still looks bullish. Given the reversals we saw on Thursday, and to a lesser extent Friday as well, I would have expected this thing to be trading below 60's. I expect this chop to continue till QE. I hope I'm wrong tho, this chops makes me wanna make a career change

If I'm long in this market, I would make sure my entry is on a nice pullback, and also use a tight stop. UNLESS its one of those crazy gap ups.

NQ is slowly creeping up...you wouldn't know it unless you were suckered in to short last friday @ 1940 thinking it would break.

As minimum change daytrading instrument. I wholehartely believe during last weeks is ES "notdaytradeable". Simple it is too risky because the only chance for success is take small wins with big stop. But if it will suddenly run against you... and it will.

I am trading GC and 6E, even they are very calm lately but still it is far, far better than ES and NQ...

What size stop are you using on these trades ?

Just curious why you only shoot for 1 point ?

Most of the ones you posted end up going much further than that and you seem to be leaving a lot on the table.

I dont put my stop. I average my price if the market goes against me. if the market went against me at 1171.75, i plan on adding at 1176.75 which will average my price to 1174.75 and move my profit target to 1173.75. Because the market made new high and the fund managers are in a position to exit their long positions from the low at 1168.75, the odds of profiting at 1173.75 is higher vs my original profit target at 1170.75. Plus, there is a higher chances the fund managers may begin going long below 1171.75. That is why i do not place my stop eventually, the fund managers will need to exit their positions.

I shoot for 1pt profit target because it falls near the 50% retracement level
