Quote from jorgez:

but isn't this the story of this thread.

the Es has a long bias in this moment (who cares why!), so why not just ride it for the longs and grab the quick shorts as they present themselves.

you guys are making this trading thing harder than it really is and at the same time you are missing what is vital.

Thank you so much, real eye opener. Easier said than done, purely because this thing seems to be exhausted.

You are assuming everyone is trading the same timeframe with the same risk appetite and similar profit objectives per trade.

This trading thing is indeed hard but we didn't make it so :D

I assume nothing.
Why not just follow the ES in it's best footsteps rather than impose your beliefs concerning risk, time frame etc upon it.

Just let ES do the work and stop the delusion.

I know you have already expanded on this statement but could you please expand some more so even dummies like me can follow what you are looking at and how you draw your conclusions."

Lawrence's response ......
"You have to see it yourself to understand the mechanism."

I have followed LC since a few years, back from the 'Purebytes' days and I have a pretty good idea of what he looks at but I dont remember him recommending a buy and hold approach based on price persistence bias.

Why is it necessary to club all traders into one particular methdology, let traders follow their own individual styles.

Still at 33.5, damn thing hasn't moved at all :D
