There is only one 100% winning strategy. It is dollar cost averaging (buy and hold) into index mutual funds over a time frame of 20 years and beyond. Other traders need to use close stops risking no more than 2% of TLNW on each trade/idea, letting the winners run.:)

Unless you time the market to the exact TIME you want to use that money.

All those folks needing that money NOW and last year are struggling a bit.

Works well for Warren, because he will NEVER spend it, LOL!

Not disagreeing with you B1S2, I use the same mentality for investing.

Trading is a far better use of working capital though. :)

So there is still hope for Tokyo Joe, should only take another 20 years to break even. :D

Do you know what happened after the tulip bubble or the South Sea bubble, maybe you should re-think your statement.

Buy and Hold still works and will always work when combined with averaging down or up, unless the structure of the markets and it's players change. So far, so good. One must play according to the time frame from which the trade was initiated. If one bought Citigroup (C) at $1.00, they should expect to see $7 price within 1 year and $50 in 5 years.

Buy1Sell2, why didn't you trade current BO?

There has not been a breakout according to my definition just yet. If I miss the trade, then I miss it. :)

History shows it always will, human nature – the only constant.
