trading small today, watching goog hit res, hope to see pullback here, mp chart setting up for possibly higher so looking to get out on pullback, i would start to worry if goog makes new high or gets above 611, uvol/dvol ratio is changing leads ,back and forth, those days usually are small movers, so you just find the inner day s/r and trade it, at the moment its 12-15

Ammo, I'd be very interested to hear a brief comment on your stop/exit strategy in the rare event one of these scaled-in trades gets out of hand.

Thanks.

I believe you're referring to a margin call.

currently sh 15 at 14,but thanks for your nothing personal jab

I guess you could call it a jab but there's nothing wrong with what you are doing. Every trader at one point in their career (usually early on) has employed this strategy.

The rare times I visit this thread you are averaging into shorts in a raging bull trend. This usually ends with a margin call.

Don't get me wrong. Today I am with you on the short side even though it is against my filters.

One of these days you will be right, hopefully you will have some capital left over to get a payoff. I'm hoping today is that day!!

I am truly not trying to be mean or insulting. Just calling it how I see it.

If I'm not mistaken, ammo has been at this for decades. I assume he's not still employing net losing strategies, which is why I for one solicit and appreciate his comments.

Anyone notice the head and shoulders pattern permarket in the ES? I'm short 1117 and have added at 1116.25(Floor pivot). Stop through 1122... Comments welcome.

Noticed it, didn't pull the trigger. Instead went long YM below 85.
