Heavy reports next week, home sales Monday, Consumer Confidence and Sentiment next two days. These are all compiled and released outside of government, maybe more accurate, but also probably already disseminated to select few.

If I'm not mistaken, market brushed aside 10.2% unemployment as a nonevent. What's exactly considered as "heavy" these days?

Fundamentals don't matter, the bulls and bears both admit this. Its all liquidity and following the trend. It works until it doesn't. At that point, we drop 50 points in one day.
 
Anything can happen but weekly chart of the spy with the daily island gap looks evil and the gap close from 10/03/08. Sticking with the downside breakout continuation until gap is closes.

Fair enough. The trick, however, is knowing when what has worked up to now no longer works. By the time it becomes clear to the rest of the world, it's usually too late.
