It's only high risk when you don't have the proper sized account. It's all relative to the account size. You calculate your risks first (stats and probs) then fund your account accordingly.

Did you know that 90%+ of term life insurance polices are never paid out.
 
Okay, who is going to take advantage of the low volume at lunch to move the market?

Ok, so I misunderstood your last post. I thought you were advocating high risk :)
 
Those who averaged with the market probably just gave it all back with that spike up. Those who tried catching the bottom with full positions on got stopped out several times and have not yet broke even and the market will turn back down just as the position starts showing profit.
Now you have the traders who went against the grain and are up more than any of the above.
